About Niji Farms

NIJI FARMS is an integrated farm with expertise in cassava cultivation. Niji Farms is a member of Niji Group of companies. The farm was established in 2012 with response to the need for stable supply of raw materials for Niji Foods Processing Plant. The farm began operation in a 500 acre land and over the years has metamorphosed into one of the major cassava farms in Nigeria.

Our Story

Niji Farms has been highly involved in developing the cassava value-chain across Africa.

Niji Farms currently cultivates over 4000 acres of land positioned to supply not less than 100tons of fresh cassava tubers to Niji Foods Integrated Cassava Processing Plant.

Niji Farms was instrumental to the success of Vitamin A Cassava in Nigeria. Niji Farms was engaged by the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) and HarvestPlus to multiply the stems.

Niji Farms works closely with international development organizations, private firms and government exploring value addition for cassava.

Niji Farms is severally engaged by states government within Nigeria and African nations to develop proper structure for their cassava industry.

Niji Farms is located in Ilero, Kajola Local Government Area of Oyo State, South-West, Nigeria.

The farm has been reputed as one of the most organized, mechanized and largest cassava farms in Africa.

We also have an enviable Maize, Plantain and Yam Farm covering several acres of land with huge potential for expansion. We recently acquired over 15,000 acres of land to be used for various forms of farming with a view to establishing a Farm Estate towards achieving our goal of being the no. 1 company championing the course of agriculture and food processing in Africa.

We had collaboration with Raw Material Research and Development Council (RMRDC), Abuja in agro processing equipment, supply of HQCF to Honeywell and Flour mills of Nigeria among many others, exportation of Gari to UK market, establishment of several local markets for products from processing center.

Niji Farms is motivated by Africa’s inability to feed herself despite occupying 60% of the world arable lands and tremendous human resources available.
